Thanks you very much my good sir.
It worked. Only issue I had was it took me nearly 2 hours to figure out that I had to set the BIOS from UEFI to Legacy to boot into DOS from the flash drive. It was a bit of a headache, but I got it.
A little off topic. Removing the old card, the antenna connector broke off into the black antenna cable. I am using the white cable as the MAIN, but the AUX is unplugged. Do I really need to replace the cable and have the AUX hooked up?
I had trouble finding a desecent answer online.
Also, I'm sending you a donation for your help. Thanks for all the help. I do appreciate it.
I'm really glad you do this otherwise I'd have to use a USB adapter forever. The internal card that comes with these computers is that bad.
This makes no sense. I cant get a Dos / freedos USB disk to boot for the life of me.. ran both the HP and Rufus tools as admin, created dos and free dos disks, I can see the proper .SYS files on the drive, and it will not boot. I tried both selecting the boot device, and setting boot priority in the Bios. I also tried the usb 2.0 and 3.0 ports. I tried all combos nothing works.
Any Ideas?
