For my knowleadge, is it many step to add the cpu microcode to the bios. Can u share with me how to do?

I have problem with the cpu upgrade. My loptop didn't bootup after replacing the new cpu Turion ML-42.
The cpu is verified Ok by the vendor and me b4 purchased last night. Please help to add the microcode set for the CPUID 20F42 (AMD mobile Turion ML-42).
