Hi guys,

I've tried to set up a new Wi-fi card into my laptop but got the "104..." error on start up.
So could you please help me with the whitelist removal?
Model: HP Probook 4320s
BIOS: F.04 68AHH 25.03.2010
Download link:sp48055.exe
Original card PCI ID:
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4315&SUBSYS_1508103C&REV_01
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4315&SUBSYS_1508103C
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4315&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4315&CC_0280

As I can understand my bios is not RSA signed. Anyway I accept all the riscs I'll possibly have caused by moded bioses usage.

If it matters I try to set up the Intel Wifi Link 5300 chip.[/i]

I wait your news Wink

Dear Camilo,

I've just tried it but it doesn't work.
I used HPQFlash and boot flash both. Waited about 5 mins each try.
Looks like I've got the laptop bricked: the capslock is blinking, the cooler is working at the full speed and the black screen all the time.
At least I checked the recovery procedure Blush
Should I do any other tests?
Hi Bios Gurus,

In desperate need for a modded version of the BIOS for the HP ProBook 4320s notebooks.  My primary school has just inherited a pile of these, and the default Atheros AR5B95 thats in them is just horrible.  Would love to swap them with Intel 5100's, as they're much better and cheap, but the b@stard BIOS is whitelisted.  Have has a squiz and found one version that was apparently modded, but it bricked one of my notebooks Sad

BIOS is 68AHH.BIN, latest is F.60 Rev.A(30 Nov 2015)
Download from http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/publi...id=4145372&swItemId=ob_157407_1&swEnvOid=4059
Original WLAN card is Atheros AR9285 - VEN_168C&DEV_002B&SUBSYS_3040103C&REV_01

Latest version is sp73928, although previous versions have been sp67225, sp57762, sp54636, sp52011

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated (and of course, if I brick some more, its my own fault, no-one elses  Wink )

Many thanks,
Aaron
I could help you to remove the whitelist check or replace whitelist ID for you. But if the bios is RSA-signed, then I couldn't help you.

Extract, read "README.txt". You can use both HPQFlash for Windows and Rompaq for DOS to flash bios mod.
With this I could mount a new Wifi card without any problem on my Hp 4320s with bios is 68AHH ver. F.61?
Are You sure?
This laptop is used for remote school in this period because it'all closed.
Thanks
