Hello,

I want to upgrade my Dell Inspiron n7010 cpu Intel p6100 to Core I5 520m , but when i change it laptop wont turn on at all. Is there any way that new cpu microcode can be inserted in bios.

new cpu is Core i5 520m SLBNB
Did you tried to boot up your laptop without the battery, with the power adapter only?
Yes ,I did nothing happens.
Try to remove a round battery from bottom of the motherboard for one minute before new CPU installing.
Install only one DIMM.
That did not work
Your BIOS has all needed microcode. So I think your i5-520m isn't properly installed or is dead.
