I dont mean to resurrect an old thread or anything, but I just want to confirm, if anyone knows, whether or not the modded bios file (Lenovo-G50-80-B0CN75WW[Moded DVMT & Hidden Menus].bin) in this thread is compatible with the Lenovo G40-80. I think it is, but I don't want to flash it without confirmation. I'm looking to unlock hidden bios settings.

Today while trying to install an ssd to my computer, I damaged my wi-fi adapter. It gets really hot and it doesn't get signal. I tried to put it in my brothers computer and it didn't work there either. My brother tells me he has a spare wi-fi card but not of same type. Is there someone who could help me overwrite my whitelist?
P.S. my motherboard was replaced and it is unfortunaly BIOS pw locked, I don't know if it restricts overwriting.
