Hi BD Master, I am not able to download the bios file, it says file is removed, could you kindly reupload to a share. Thanks a lot. BDMasterPlease reupload the file.
Hello,
sorry for coming back to such an old topic but I would need this BIOS for my HP folio 13-1013... Is the re any chance that somebody would still have the file and could re-upload it ?
Thank you in advance !
My notebook is HP Folio 13 1035nr, I want to install osx system, but my notebook has wifi whitelist, I try to remove whitelist use PhoenixTool, i search and replace my wifi card hard ID with new ID, then flash to chip use HARD FLASH TOOL(it Directly write to the chip, is not flash software), but when i flashed my bios, my computer can't bootup.
I try edit only 1 bit use PhoenixTool and flash bios, but my notebook still can't bootup.
I try UEFITool too.
PS: HARD FLASH TOOL can be skip RSA signature.
bios file download:

or old version:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp59501-60000/sp59761.exe
or dump file from my bios use HARD FLASH TOOL:

wifi card id:
old wifi card in whitelist:
8086 008b 53158086
86808B0086801553
need modify to:
168C 002B 2C371A3B
8C162B003B1A372C
Please help me, tell me how to modify the white list???
Sorry to bump this really old thread but I'm looking to remove the whitelist in my HP Folio 13 1010-es for a while now.
Currently running on BIOS F.0B (which I think HP removed from some reason because is not available for download anymore) but I don't mind downgrading to any previous version that can get the whitelist removed.
Reading through the thread it seems that @BDMaster managed to do it for F.02 (
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp55001-5...p55433.exe) a few years ago, but the file is not available anymore.
The latest BIOS version available is F.0A (
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp59501-6...p59761.exe).
Wifi card IDs known to work:
Broadcom: Ven/Dev [14E4:4727]
Subsystem [103C:1795]
Atheros: Ven/Dev [168C:0032]
Subsystem [103C:1785]
If someone can help removing the whitelist it would be great. I know that this laptop BIOS is RSA signed (I checked different versions, starting from the first release), and I'm willing to take the risk of modding it.
I will continue to read the different guides in the meantime, so I can try to mod it myself and share the results.
Should I start from dumping my current BIOS using this method:
https://www.bios-mods.com/wiki/How_to_du...nsyde_BIOS
And then start the mod from the dump?
Any thoughts are welcome.
Thanks.

Less risky to flash: sp55433.
Risky: sp59761.
Wow, thanks a lot!
May I ask why one is more risky than the other? Aren't both RSA signed the same?
Or the risk is on something else?

Because, as you noticed, a mod of one of the versions has already been created.

Mods for newer ones have not been confirmed.

Fair enough. Anyway I don't think anyone confirmed any mod working in the thread.
I will try these and let you know.
Just to confirm you only removed the whitelist right?
