Hi,

I'm trying to install a new wwan card in my x121e laptop.

It's a Sierra 4G DW5570 7W5P6. The card is not whitelisted, so I'd be very thankful to anyone who could remove the whitelist check from the current BIOS for this laptop.

The current bios is the 1.19 on the laptop, I tried his various mod, but it wouldn't install from windows, the only way i would update is by using a boot cd. can anyone create a boot cd with the mod bios. Many thanks

Here's the download link for the current BIOS: https://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc...uj12us.iso
Manage to fix it, the issue was i was using windows 10 64bit, inserted another hard drive, installed windows 10 32bit, then installed mod bios, then reverted to previous hard drive.
All fine now Smile

Hi, would you still have this BIOS file by any chance? Can't get oem card working with Win10, so I'd be happy to use newer card with this laptop, which is old but still very alive  Smile
Thank You!
