Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

Hello, guys.

Please help me to unlock Thermal Configuration.
My laptop's (ASUS K501UW-AB78) cooling system under Win10 is really annoying me. So I want to take control of cooling settings. If it's possible :-)

I have modifed an AMI BIOS v301 for Asus K501uw-ab78.

This worked for me, and should work for all other k501uw-ab78s. However, I cannot garuntee that will work without error.

Instructions:
1. Install afuwin download (thanks to nnvt for the link)
2. Make sure the modified.rom file is 6016 KB, and that the crc is a9e47a35.
3. Open afuwin, and click "Open". select the ROM.
4. Click on "Flash" button to flash the rom to your BIOS. DO NOT MODIFY ANY OF THE SETTINGS. JUST CLICK "FLASH".
5. Once the process completes (Status: Done), close Afuwin and reboot.

Accoustic mitigation will be under the Advanced tab.
