Hello everyone. First post here. I have this DELL laptop model mentioned in title. One day it just didn't turn on. Took it to maintenance; they replaced bios chip. Later, the laptop took almost 20 seconds just to show the DELL logo, while it had only lasted 2 seconds before it bricked.
I tried updating the bios to the latest version, still having same problems.
My main problem is not in the delay at boot, it actually freezes at the welcome screen no matter what windows version i use 7, 8 or 10. Tried booting from flash drive, same problem. It's not a disk drive problem nor ram. I ran all the necessary checks. Nothing's wrong. Is there such thing as incompatible bios chip? Some people told me the new bios chip is causing this problem.
