They use common microcode!
Try to downgrade BIOS to F8.
Can you make photos of your Xeons?
I got it to work Smile

I downgraded the bios to f8, the xeons boot yaaa... but i just realized the x3430 doesnt have hyperthreading. I got this xeon assuming its was an i7 but i guess it aint. I guess I'll try getting the x3440 since it has hyperthreading. Thanks a Million Smile

Im gonna expierment with the f9 and f10 bios later cause i think they add stability.
Nice news!

I think now you can try to flash F11 again.
P.S. Tell sSpec of your Xeon X3430.
Hi,
I've got quite the issue with my motherboard P55-UD3 rev 1.
The Mobo doesn't "support" the X3470 but supports the X3480.
Could someone plz help with adding the microcode to the bios?

I can't overclock it or do anything as the motherboard defaults to 3.2 Ghz.

Currently running Bios version F9

Cheers Alex
Xeon X3470 & X3480 have the same CPUID. So adding microcode isn't required.
