Hi, everybody.
This my first message at a forum.
I have a Samsung R710.
Now there is a processor core 2 duo P7350.
I want upgrade the processor on core 2 quad Q9000. But my Bios doesn't see the new processor. Whether it is possible to make modification Bios with support of core 2 quad processors?
Some models of this laptop had the q9000 in stock.
Post screenshots of first (CPU) & third (Mainboard) tabs of CPU-Z with current CPU.

You can use Q9000 without BIOS modification.
Thanks. I have ordered the processor. I will try.

Don't close a subject so far. I will write as everything will turn out.
Again hi. I have put k9000. The system doesn't start. Black screen. Nevertheless modification Bios is necessary. You will help?
BIOS supports it. But the reason may be in the revision of the motherboard.
It means that at me this processor won't be started? Or something can be made?
You can try the motherboard's mod for quad core CPU supporting (without guarantee for success):
