Right now i have two processors officially supported by dc5800: Pentium Dual-Core E5300 (2600 MHz / 800 MHz / 2Mb) and Core 2 Duo E7500 (2933 MHz / 1066 MHz / 3Mb). Like the Q9650, these processors have a CPUID 1067A, Family: 6 (06h), Model: 23 (017h), Stepping: 10 (0Ah) but "core stepping" R0.
To create a microcode patch, I have to purchase a Xeon X3363 SLBC3 (CPUID 1067A) and let you know, right?
Right.
I got a processor. After turning on, the computer with it shows a black screen, and after 15 seconds the cooler turns on at full power.
Make a screenshot of regedit with expanded key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\CentralProcessor\0 with supported CPU.
Make current dump of BIOS by Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0.
Make photo of your Xeon from top.
OK. Did you modify the socket of your motherboard?
