Hello, I want to unlock my bios acer v3 772 g to access advanced options. I need advanced options to disable my GTX760M because I want to install an external egpu and connect to my laptop.
I saved my bios and I can send it with a private message.
When I used the bios backup toolkit, an error message appeared first (failure to read the bios or unable to identify the bios)
then I changed the settings to customize to 16384k and then I can use read and save)
but I do not know if the backup was really done and if it can be reused in case of problems.
The original bios can be found on the acer site on the following page:
https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/su...t/4732?b=1
These bios weigh only 4 mo is what I need to make a backup of only 4 mo instead of 16 mo I had with the tool?
But my original computer had a normal HDD and less RAM.
Now I have 16 GB of ram and a 500 GB ssd hard drive that I have mounted myself.
Thank you for your answers and your help
