So, I backed up the existing BIOS, and using P/D/I v2.66, my backup .rom says SLIC marker 2.1 exists.

Knowing that it exists, the question now becomes, anybody have any luck UNLOCKING the Poweredge T30 BIOS?
I have a Dell T30 Server that I believe uses the same exact motherboard as the Dell Precision 3620 despite them listing the boards as 2 different part numbers, that being said the T30 BIOS stops supporting the M.2 slot on the board after version 1.02 however the 3620 BIOS supports it in all its BIOS updates. The 3620 also has a wider number of supported processors than the T30. Is it possible to flash my Dell T30 motherboard with the 3620 BIOS to regain all the support or am I locked on staying at stagnant BIOS 1.02? I found 2 different part numbers, the Precision 3620 uses board # 9WH54 and the PowerEdge T30 which is technically a server (glorified desktop) uses board number 07T4MC although the boards are an exact match otherwise when I look up the specs. I just installed an i7-6700K processor in the PowerEdge T30 which it took without issue although Dell doesn't list it as a supported processor. My guess is they want to make extra money so they don't list a full list of processors since they would rather sell a computer than give the business to Intel for just a processor upgrade. Anyhow, has anyone taken the plunge and flashed a T30 with a 3620 BIOS and if so were the results favorable or not?
