Hello there. I've been rocking my P5K SE since 2008 and it's still alive thanks to this forums. I wanted to share my bios which is a collection from various mods from here.

Currently running Win10 Pro in an SSD on AHCI on a Q6600 with no problems. Posting from it.

Contents:
-1402 original BIOS
-1402 heavily modded, including:
 - AHCI
 - ASUS SLIC
 - Marvell update L75
 - Microcode update for Xeons
 - New bootlogo
- Asus certificate to use with the SLIC
- Most recent Marvell driver that can be found (eSATA hot swap working)
- Modded Intel AHCI driver from win-RAID

Regarding AHCI, it doesn't need the modded driver. It works fine with MSAHCI, or if you update to ICH9R driver from device manager.

Default BIOS setting are the same from ASUS, I'd recomend setting them right after flashing.
Hello, I have downloaded the modified bios but several files come, someone who explains the order to install everything without errors?

1402.ROM = Original BIOS from ASUS
1402_MOD.ROM = Modded BIOS
ASUS_2.1.XRM-MS = Certificate to validate Windows 7
Driver\Marvell = Marvell eSATA driver
Driver\Universal 64bit Intel RST = Intel AHCI driver

The order is irrelevant, you just install what you need
Hello everyone.
First I want to thanks all for this amazing forum!
I found this thread to use my old P5k SE with a Xeon and I want to know if I can Flash this modded bios normally and if occurs any problem I can restore to the original with crashfree feature.
Thank you a lot.

Edit: I have tried after a long waiting time...
I've flashed this one and worked like a charm!
AHCI worked just fine! Now I'll try a Xeon E5450 on this old mobo!

Thank you all so much!
Hi!

I would like to know how many GPUs this card supports? I'm using 5 GPUs and when I put the 6th, Linux goes into boot looping. I'm using a PCIE 1x4 multiplier on PCIe 16x.
