Hope this's the right place for my problem.
My laptop was working fine till i upgraded the bios (that's stupid i know), start having sudden lags from time to time inside and outside games.
Tried to do a rollback, reflash with older .bin files (that go with my bios), but all what i've been getting is "unable to open bios signature file".
Am currently having all the last updates for all drivers.

Some troubleshooting i've done:
  • Disabling sound drivers
  • Reinstalling Windows
  • Noticing that when i say IDLE in a game, the FPS go down to 15~20 and then go back up to ~50fps every while
  • No lags in games when i use my Intel hd
  • Changing/removing the mouse
I tried to get some help from HP forums, and ofc i end up with nothing.
So my questions are:
Any solution for this problem?
If i deliberately brick the bios, will i be able to reflash it without seeing that stupid message about the signature file?
What are the chances that the bios will get rekt for good if it got bricked?
Just re-download your old bios files, run the installer, and boot from a USB drive. It sounds like your bios is corrupt.

I already tried that but i've been getting "unable to open bios signature file".
