Hi,

I have 2 laptops of the same brand (vit.gob.ve) and model (P3400-002). The first one have the AES-NI option enable from factory (there is not menu or option in BIOS), and the second laptop doesnt have the AES-NI option enabled (there is not option in BIOS)

Please check the text files with the cpuid information of both laptops

There is 2 images of the main screen of both BIOS

Also I, attached the two bios fyi. I have been unable to flash the BIOS with the AES-NI enabled in the other laptop because I always get erros related to old version cannot be flashed in machines with newer BIOS.

So your task can't be solved by unlocking BIOS.
Hello,

Thanks for your repply. How can I transfer the OLD bios to the other machine? The software to make the firmware update always says: "Bios file is old" and stop the process.

Read this - https://www.raymond.cc/blog/how-to-downg...winphlash/
But I think that BIOS downgrade will not help. Probably you need a hardware programmer to enable support for AES.
