Hello Guys: I don't want a modded bios, I need a Stock Bios for DELL XPS17 L702X but with updated CPU microcodes, i've tried to integrate them but new microcodes for my Cpu (cpuid 206A7 platform 12 Core I7 2820QM) are longer than the originals, so the file changes checksum and this is an error and must be fixed in order to avoid damages to motherboard, can you help me?
Make DOS USB-stick (e.g, by Rufus), download and unzip all files for the modded version of CHECKUP7 to this DOS USB-stick.
Find file with name 06-2a-07 in your microcode-20171117.zip (or download latest microcode), rename it to PEP.DAT and copy (with replacement) to this DOS USB-stick.
Boot from this DOS USB-stick and make a photo of the screen with results.
I've done it, it remains stuck like in photo with flashing cursor, i waited for 30mintues
what can i do?
What's kind of DOS you selected in Rufus?
