1. "Battery whitelist" does not exist...the control of the battery is carried out by the EC
2. Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0 does not work correctly with your bios...use BACKUP_Tools19 or fpt only

For that Firmware mentioned at CVE-2019-6171 , these have EC locked as It's RSA signed into, so only these Lenovo laptop are patchebles (as Matthew Chapman aka ZMatt (1st) and Hamish Coleman aka hamishcoleman (2nd) made something), but You can looking for list above and find your laptop model and the fix and if It isn't into the list, then is editable, but It's EC code :

I got a Lenovo B590 without a battery, and of course the 3rd party replacement (GreenCell) gives me the non OEM battery error. I tried to find out how to make a bios dump, but unfortunately still don't know how to go about doing that. Any help would be appreciated.
