Hello,

Im looking for a way to unlock some options on my X8STi-F.
A guide would also be fine, it would be interesting Smile

The Download link is here:

I tried overclocking with RW everything but the voltage of my cpu limits it hard.

best regards,
rar
If some options present, you can unlock, read document AMIBCP for AMIBIOS8 Data Sheet.

What characteristics do you change?
I could change the fsb from 133 to 137 and thats it. Anything more would freeze, cpuz shows a core voltage of .856 all time that seems to limit it.
Try found more info in Overclock section.
@LLC The bios is locked there is nothing to find in that overclock section for locked bios. You can try to change the fsb via RW Everything but that does not seem to work well on my mainboard. Since i have no idea to how to at least get some options unlocked in the bios i cant change the voltage so a fsb overclock ( with the tool RW everything) on a 0.856 voltage is not very great...

Why it is locked, may be your cpu not fully supported by bios software ?
Did you try see voltage under load (like in background running cpu stress test) ?
You looked available options menu for bios in program?

The bios itself is a ".917" file. How do i convert it so i can open it with AMIBCP?

Yes, checked to voltage under load.

Seriously, need to convert to open a file and the secret name of your CPU is still unknown?
Can you show me a screen of the program, how is the 137MHz frequency set ?

Firstly, when i could open it with AMIBCP i would, but it does not work. You can try yourself by the link i gave in post 1.
I know you are trying to help me, but its not that easy. I tried "just opening" before i even made the first post.

The frequency is set via RW-everything. IT works by replacing the FSB with the "Hi-Z Clock" which only works in Test mode.
It is not like  "setFSB" etc just to change the fsb. The only article about it is in german as far as i find it.( https://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/f1...85378.html )

I'm opening file normal.
Good article, didn't know about test mode, I read some ICS clockgen datasheet.
