Thanks, yes that is not good. Have you cleared CMOS and loaded optimal after that initial BIOS update? If not, do that now, then go back to BIOS and load optimal defaults again, set SATA how you want, and disable all the speedstep stuff. If that does not help, hopefully DeathBringer can tell you the cause of the issue.
