Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

have a dfi lanparty p55 t3eh9. it currently has a i5 750 installed. looking to know if a xeon x3450 will work in this board. said cpu works in my old acer h57h am2 board.

This motherboard with current BIOS should boot with Xeon X3450.

it wont. board tries to boot but just turns off right away. cpu still works in a acer h57h am2 board though

Here, try this BIOS, I only updated the microcode for your CPU, to 2015 version, can also try 2013 or 2018 version too if this one doesn't help.
