Thanks 1234s282, worked perfectly without any issues!! Oh, it also works on an Acer TravelMate 6592G without using SLIC method but using the 'System Reserve' method.

Thats really interesting , what on earth made you attempt an asus desktop bios to an acer laptop ???????

LOL, That was confusing wasn't it? I never loaded the BIOS for the Asus onto an Acer Laptop but I did however get it going on the Acer TM 6592G WITHOUT any BIOS mods, BUT using the emulator method from WOW7.
Hope that clears things up abit

This is an AMI bios file , hence the ROM extension
Flash With AFUDOS (google it)
