Hello

I have an asrock 775i65gv motherboard with official bios 2.40 version. Anyone has the bios mod for this motherboard for support Pentium D Extreme Edition 955 (Presler-65nm)?

motherboard link: https://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/775i65GV/index.asp
similar motherboard link that support Pentium D 955 cpu: https://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/775i65G/index.asp

please help me.
Post screenshots of first (CPU) & third (Mainboard) tabs of CPU-Z with supported CPU.
Tell sSpec of your Pentium D. Explain exactly what happens when you try to boot with it.

Sspec is SL94N -- http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Pentium_Ex...3955).html

I'm going to buy this processor and not yet installed on the system. The manufacturer says the processor is not supported by the motherboard.

How you did flash latest BIOS? By native AsrUBios.exe?
What was CPU installed when BIOS flashed?
I do not know.
When I bought the motherboard, the latest version of the BIOS was already installed on it.

Pentium 4 661
Well. Your motherboard doesn't support FSB=1066 Mhz. So you need downclock speed Pentium XE 955 to boot with it. You should make BSEL mod 1066->800. If it boots normally then reflash latest BIOS AsrUBios.exe and overclock to normal state.
Or simply buy supported Pentium D 9x0 with FSB=800 Mhz. Pentium D 9x5 are not recommended - they don't support virtualization.
BTW: you need motherboard's PCB version R1.04 to use dual-core CPU.
How do I do this? ---> "You should make BSEL mod 1066->800"
You need to connect pad BSEL1 to VCC (view from top of CPU):
