My laptop had bios password which came with an update and I was able to enter BIOS for SSD installation.

I have tried to reset BIOS Flash chip by short circuiting 5 and 6 pin

However then laptop didnt boot up completely.

Could you please guide me how to recover bios chip

Do I need to replace chip or I need EEPROM programmer only for recovery?
