I would like to have the WhiteList check removed for my HP dv7-1023cl so I can
replace the original Intel "WiFi Link 5100" with an Intel "Ultimate-N 6300".
I noticed a thread where someone already did this, but I had no luck downloading the file:

hi all.
i've saved from trash an old hp dv7-1060el, so i want to re-use it with a small no profit organization that need a laptop.
pc is good condition but came without wireless card.
i tried to mount an Atheros AR5007 AR5BXB63 Mini PCI-e Wireless Card taken from another dead laptop but got error
104 "unupported wireless network device detected. system halted. remove device and restart".
so i tried to upgrade bios with that provided in your repository,

i flashed bios but nothing happened: got another error 104

Hello, I've notebook HP DV7 1080ew with bios sp51315 (F.2D) and I want upgrade it with an Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 7260 (7260HMW).
Now I tryied to insert Atheros AR5B95 and it gives me "104 Unsupported wireless..." error. So I assume that my bios is locked. Can you help me, please?
