Hello dears! Immediately apologize for your English is not my native language. And so put the i5 2540m laptop processor running but under load restarts can be a problem in the bios? Bios version R0200Z9. And Yes, now the regular i3 2370m
Install your i5-2540M, boot & make a screenshot of regedit with expanded key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\CentralProcessor\0
And also show screenshots of ThrottleStop (main window & TPL).

Please install VMware CPU Microcode Update Driver.
Make new TXT-report of CPU-Z after it.
Than test CPU load again.
Alas, under load the laptop also reboots
So it's not BIOS problem.

What are the other options? Everything works perfectly on the HP Pro 4540s laptop
I think the reason is a wrong installation of heatsink or/and a wrong type of silicone thermal pad.
