Hello!
I have incomplete BIOS update caused by Win10 update and power failure.
Now I have ASUS F556UA-AB54
Motherboard model: X556UV_MB REV.3.1
Motherboard type: X556UAK 15314058 (PN:60NB09S0-MB3100 PT:N0CV1643MB0132514)
I found a USB FlashDisk 2Gb FAT32 formatted - the LED flashing when I put there X556UAK-AS.317 renamed to X556UAK.BIN. And LED flashing is different when there are no BIN file or filename is other.
Now I need to find a key combination to start... No one of key combinations found in forums cause any visible effect...

Also I have a friend who can flash the chip using programmer, but he asks me to find a full BIOS dump (or firmware with bootloader)

@Andre82

Follow this example to unlock your Eerpom :

All files you need are into the Patch Mod ...

Your variable is :

BIOS Lock VarOffset - 0x8E5

Doenload the tools get the EFI shell and rename .efi file to >> Shell.efi and copy into the USB Stick like into the example.
Then modify the NVRAM variable setting it to 0x00, after that you will use this Bios Mod for Bios Verision 3.10 ,
it has the FPT tool to make a backup / flash and UEFI Patch to modify your bios backup.
Unpack it and you'll find more folder and program, choice the FPTw-V11 folder and execute the programs.
Run it by double cllick on Dump.bat program and then when it finisched on the Write.bat program and wait
that it will flash back your mod file into eeprom :

Good Day! May I kindly request for a backup bios bin file for Asus GL503VD-FY005T with board ID DABKLMB28A0 Rev A? I am fixing my laptop while updating suddenly got a power interruption and when I try to power on, it will show lights from keyboard and charging light as well as power indicator just for a few seconds then it will turn off. I already checked hardware components like diodes, resistors coils, caps, and everything else seemed fine. I need to try  getting a good backup bios bin file for this but I can't find one. I hope someone can assist and help me on this. Thanks in advance.

YOu need to find ME FW version, often on BIOS main page, if not in HWINFO64 large window, expand motherboard, find ME area and then locate ME Firmware version.  Then from this thread download matching ME System Tools package from the "C" Section
https://www.win-raid.com/t596f39-Intel-M...Tools.html

Inside you will find Flash Programming Tool folder, and inside that a windows/Win/Win32 folder.  Select that win folder, hold shift and press right click, choose open command window here (Not power shell) and then type the command I gave above, then send me the created .bin file
Hello. I also did everything according to the instructions. Here is my bios dump.

Hi! I stepped on a rough path to Hackintosh my asus rog gl503v. Install went more or less smoothly with minor issues that I resolved thanks to Reddit. but there is always BUT. I was planning to use this laptop for audio recording and i have a well-known bug with causes USB audio interface to glitch and stutter. A fix is simple, disabling SuperIO, and serial in bios. But i don't have this option in Asus's crippled bios. I dumped the bios with AFUWINGUI, and opened it with AMIBPC5.02.0031 and I see those options in the second "advanced" tab. I'm new to bios modding and still find it quite confusing, I'll be quite thankful if anyone here could point me in the right direction. Another issue i have is that AFU won't open bios image for me, the process will stop responding, so what are my other options to flash bios in this machine? How to do it? What's the deal with this grub thing? As I said, I'm new to this, and gathering info on this topic is quite hard. I have a bios programer to rescue this machine if anything goes wrong.  I attached bios that i dumped with AFU. Thanks in advance.

EDIT. My post was moved here, i read this thread and i will extract FPT BIOS region dump and post later today!
I followed your guide, worked great for me!
