Hi, I also have an Acer Aspire E1-531. My screen broke and now I rely on an external monitor that is using the VGA port. The problem is that I can't access the bios from the monitor as it will not output the display even if I unhook the broken screen or use the display switch key combo (Fn+F5). Can the bios be modded to force the bios to be displayed on the external monitor? I will also want it unlocked please, thanks.

This is the download to my device's bios https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles...SC=EMEA_27

I am using UEFI.
Hi! I was wondering if anyone could help me out here. I'm trying to install Windows 2000 to my Acer Aspire E1-531 (with Intel B960 processor and Intel HD 3000 Graphics), but the installation won't let me use ACPI mode despite using BlackWingCat's modded acpi.sys, so I have to use Standard PC mode meaning many of the drivers do not work properly as a result. I've read over at MSFN this is due to the InsydeH2O BIOS and certain settings, so I was wondering if anyone could mod the BIOS to unlock all the advanced options. Here's the latest BIOS for this model from Acer, dated October 10th, 2012, and is version 1.13. https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles...R&SC=AAP_5

Any help greatly appreciated!
