Hi all!
I try to upgrade my laptop Toshiba L300-146. This laptop had GL960 chipset.

I upgraded my laptop with this parts:

CPU: Intel Core2Duo Extreme X9000 2.8Ghz
RAM: 1GB + 4GB DDR2 = 5GB
HDD: SSD Samsung 860 250GB
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64Bits 1809

Now i bought new CPU Intel X9000, its compatible with this chipset but i notice a problem. The multiplier stuck at 6x and runs 1200Mhz and i need to run Throtlestop APP to Reset CPU to get 14X multiplier. How i can get full working multiplyer?

I know this CPU had unlock multiplyer can i change over 14X?
I attached bios file to anyone check the CPU ID.

Best Regards
Disable SLFM.

Is impossible to put this CPU work at normal? I need run the APP all time when i turn on my laptop. The windows start up take long time to boot...
1. Take USB stick and format to FAT32
2. Create directory structure EFI\Boot
3. Download and unzip bootx64.7z
4. Put BOOTX64.EFI to Boot directory.
5. Boot from this USB stick
6. Run command: setup_var 0x194
7. Make and post a photo of the screen.
This is old laptop, doesn´t have EFI, it work?
Try it and check.

Doesn´t work.
So you need unlocked version of BIOS. Change Dynamic CPU Frequency Mode from Always Low to Dynamic
But unlocking is offtopic in this section!
