Can somebody please help me with my Fujitsu Lifebook AH512 Bios?  I need a mod for unlocking the CPU Hyper-threading.
The thing is that i have upgraded my laptop from B960 Pentium to i5-3320m 2 cores/4 threads capable CPU
CPU specs: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...0-ghz.html

The problem:
i5-3320m CPU is currently running with 2 cores/2 threads.. multithreading is missing.

The MB has the HM75 chipset by intel and should have Hyper-threading technology, but obviously it is disabled i guess.
Beside this problem the CPU was perfect fit. ..the same TDP 35W.
The BIOS is upgraded to the latest, before the install of the new CPU and i have made new install of the Windows 8.1 but nothing is changed.
In the BIOS there is no option for Hyper-threading enable/disable.
By manufacturer's data sheet for this model of notebook (Lifebook AH512) at that time, several CPU's were available:
Intel® Pentium® B960
Intel® Pentium® 2020M
Intel® Core™ i3-2348M (2 core/4 threads)
Intel® Core™ i3-2328M (2 core/4 threads)
Intel® Celeron® B830
Intel® Celeron® B820
Intel® Celeron® M 1000M
I believe this problem can be fixed with modifying the BIOS in which i do not have knowledge.
Thoughts?

Thank you!
Do Load Defaults in BIOS.
Make a screenshot of regedit with expanded key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\CentralProcessor\0
Run msconfig.exe, go to tab Boot, click BOOT Advanced options button, make a screenshot.
Thanks for your fast reply DeathBringer..
Please make BIOS backup by Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0
And make TXT-report of CPU-Z.
Smile Wow.. this morning i have made a text report with cpuid and there it was 2/4 from the Cpu and HTT now active... just like that. I haven't done anything special, only load setup default in BIOS as you said. After that i haven't checked again cpuid report. And this morning there it was.
I couldn't do it without you DeathBringer.. you are the man.  Heart
THANK YOU![attachment=16408][attachment=16407]
p.s. One quick question DeathBringer. I am thinking of fitting in the 4 cores/8 threads CPU i7-3612QM (35W TDP) will i have the same problem again.. 4 cores/4 threads, or that is solved for good now?
First step - do Load Defaults in BIOS.
