Their latest BIOS F17 ( https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp93001-9...p93242.exe ) doesn't have NVMe enabled, similar dearer laptops in this series has it...
HP say's it is not possible since it's SATA M.2 but after comparing and investigating the conclusion is that even on my motherboard the SATA is running through the PCIe x4 like the NVMe does on the more expensive machines...
Is there any chance to enable this and throw it in HP's face?

Thanks in advance for any comment, suggestion, what ever!  Heart
Hello again.

Reading my post from yesterday I can see my own frustration but I guess that's what you get spending 2 weeks with a stubborn OEM maker and it's sad lackeys in their forum...

No help wse and no advice, linking to a manual that in the end is generic, a forum where the "experts" trying to answer first to get the "kudos" and "thumbs up"...
Most honest was an employee here in Sweden, he honestly said that I can forget that HP will do anything on upgrading a machine, the 7 years he been working for this company they never done anything like that. To busy spitting out new hardware he said.

So... I figured out to do it myself and found this forum, I am reading and taking in right now but going to need help guys, hopefully you can help me on my way.
NVMe is not so important for my laptop (14-bp0091no) it's just that it's said it cant be done that drives me (mad).  Big Grin

Cheers and thank you.
