This is not dumped BIOS from programmer, this is stock BIOS region from Asus put inside full BIOS file (+ FD/ME)
Please upload untouched programmer dumped BIOS since you have a flash programmer
This is the dump that the laptop is flashed, it is restored, the original flash is damaged
dmi area is lost, I can attach an update from offsite
So you don't have original dump from damaged chip? If you do, please send to me, I will fix the BIOS for you. Yes, all DMI info is gone, NVRAM volume missing, other NVRAM volume only partial with generic default etc. I can fix DMI stuff for you if you have all your info from stickers, but I'd need to find other full BIOS dump first if you do not have.

NVRAM volume missing and the other partial is the big issue here, this contains BIOS settings and not in the default generic NVRAM volume area alone. If you unlock BIOS and use other settings, their matched controls in NVRAM are not there, so would not be working I think. You need proper FULL BIOS on there before any unlock attempts are made.

If you do not have, or cannot dump, original BIOS chip contents, we need to find other valid/full BIOS dump from this same model (Not from Vinafix, their BIOS provided often same as you posted already, not complete proper/actual BIOS dump, only Asus partial BIOS "Upgrade" provided by online download + FD/ME added)
On the link, the full restored dump, I checked it, it even heats a little less, I will drop you a link in PM
I think you didn't understand me maybe? I wanted a dump from your original broken BIOS, before you write anything new to it, or any previous backup made with software before the BIOS messed up. BIOS you send in PM is not full BIOS either, it's missing both NVRAM volumes entirely
This is the original bios flashed in the service center. There is no other. only the one in the first message
You may need to update it to the latest version. he is very old
No, all BIOS you have posted are not complete BIOS. If you sent to non-Asus service center that is why. The first BIOS you posted is most complete, but is only stock BIOS built from stock online BIOS "upgrade" and is still partial BIOS. The second one is bad, should not be used by anyone ever, this one is missing both NVRAM volumes entirely.

Updating BIOS version has nothing to do with this.

Do you have your original BIOS chip? If yes, dump it with programmer if you have not already erased and wrote to it again. If you do not have it, or are using it now (thus already re-programmed), do you have any old BIOS backups? Those can be made with software, anything, just any older BIOS backup YOU personally made. If you do not have this, you need to find someone with this same model and ask them to make a backup for you, then we can edit that with your info instead of theirs, and then unlock it.

If you cannot find anyone with same model, we can try with first BIOS you posted, but I doubt it will work since that is only a partial BIOS upgrade, good enough to run the board and recover systems with, but that's not how a BIOS should have been fixed by ANY service center. They didn't know what they were doing, or more likely they didn't want to take the time and do it properly (lazy), that or just clueless Big Grin
They both work, but I used it in one message. Without mac addresses and serial numbers, in the second one I sent you all the addresses there.
maybe it can be updated to the latest version, and it is suitable for modding
Thank you for your help.
