Good morning forum!
I have a question for you experts... I have the motherboard in subject.
I currently have 2x 2690v2 in it so a whole 20c/40t running at 3ghz... I would like to play with the system a bit...
Do you think it would be possible to unlock some overclock functionalities on the motherboard like BCLK control and some kind of voltage contro? I have plans to water cool the thing in near future so heat won't be an issue...

Thanks a lot for help!
Dump your BIOS region via FPT and send me a copy and I can unlock for you, if the settings are there. Also, please show me some images of what you can currently see in AI Tweaker page if there is one, or what all CPU related options you can see in Advanced (use small images, put in a zip, thanks)

Check BIOS main page and see if ME FW version is shown, if not then download HWINFO64 and on the large window on left side, expand motherboard and find ME area, inside that get the ME Firmware version.
Once you have that, go to this thread and in the section "C" download the matching ME System Tools Package (ie if ME FW version = 10.x get V10 package, if 9.0-9.1 get V9.1 package, if 9.5 or above get V9.5 package etc)

Once downloaded, inside you will find Flash Programming Tool folder, and inside that a Windows or Win/Win32 folder. Select that Win folder, hold shift and press right click, choose open command window here (Not power shell).
At the command prompt type the following command and send me the created file to modify >> FPTw.exe -bios -d biosreg.bin

Right after you do that, try to write back the BIOS Region dump and see if you get any error, if you do show me image of the command entered and the error given >> FPTw.exe -bios -f biosreg.bin

If you are stuck on Win10 and cannot easily get command prompt, and method I mentioned above does not work for you, here is some links that should help
Or, copy all contents from the Flash Programming Tool \ DOS folder to the root of a USB Bootable disk and do the dump from DOS (FPT.exe -bios -d biosreg.bin)

I\'m super sorry I didn't manage to get back to you sooner no email notification for some reason and I'm out of office right now so cannot do that (yes I am using my own computer as work horse XD )I will try to do everything you said once I'll be home I'm out for work and I'll be going back home around 8th of august. So how does it work cause I'm really interested... Some bios options are just hidden to the user and can be brought to life by some simple code change? What can be unlocked with this method? Thanks a lot and sorry again for not getting back at you sooner...Fabio

I managed to do it with system tools v7 r2 though... which doesn't make a lot of sense...
Whatever I'm attaching the file Smile
I found out digging around the bios that I have the descriptor locked... apparently this can be a problem right?
