Your bios is rewrite protected
You need a SPI-programmer+SOIC8 clip only

Hi all,
I've and older bios (ABCN73WW). Is it possible to flash a custom bios without the need of the SPI flasher?

I already patched the bios by myself, but when try to flash I get this error:

Error 28: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS, preventing flash access.

Is there anything I can do? flash from freedos? or?

I've got BIOS version ABCN32WW.
Can someone help me get a modified BIOS? I'd like to install a newer WLAN card (9260NGW), I've got the NFA335 right now.
Not very experienced with modified BIOS versions, what are the risks? how can I make a dump file (I suppose that's what you need to make the modified BIOS) and how do i flash it again?
