To overclock my i7 cpu, i need to lift the long and short power limits. My bios is limited to 130. I can use the intel tuning software to set it higher and it works, but I do not use windows primarily.

If I try to set the value to say 150 by doing setup_var 0x599 0x96, it is set back to Auto because 130 is the max.

How can I change the max?

This is on an ASRock Z390 ITX/AC motherboard.
