Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

I have a toughbook I set a BIOS password to and forgot it and need to change it. I can't access windows as forgot the password for it as well.

I purchased a ch314a mini programmer and have dumped a bin of the chip mx25L12873F which gave me the full bios. I then tried to replace the password data in the AMITSeSetup section and in another area I found it. Upon reboot the computer says bad checksum and reverts itself!

Here is the bios backup. I dumped it with ch314a programmer and a sop8 clip.

This BIOS does not store passwords, only SHA-1 hash from them.

Actually I don't believe it is SHA-1... some guy figured it out. I just need to figure out the XOR key for the CF-53.
