Hello Guys,

I have a old Laptop from Medion with Aptio 4 Bios from AMI without a connected battery.
So no matter what I try to Update the Bios I always get the following error:

 - AC adapter is not connected or There is no installed battery or Battery remaining charge level of the battery is lower than 30%.
d - Error: BIOS Report Error.

Even if I try to update the Bios with the /JBC parameter (Don't Check AC adapter and battery) it wont work.

I tried it normaly by executing the .exe-file, updating with dos and also with a uefi shell but everything without success...

My Specs:

Medion akoya E6240T
Model: E6240T
Model No.: MD99390
MSN No.: 30017220

Bios-Update File: http://download.medion.com/downloads/tre...MD.613.exe

The extractet exe contains following:

@Net stop pcasvc >NUL 2>&1
@echo on

@%~dp0FWUpdLcl64.exe -f %~dp0Production_TXE_REGION.bin -y -allowsv

%~dp0fptw64.exe -f %~dp0M1366.BIN -a 0x76a000  -p %~dp0fparts.txt

%~dp0afuwinx64.exe %~dp0C15MMD.613 /p /b /n /capsule /defans

@Net start pcasvc >NUL 2>&1

So my Question:

Is there any way to force update the bios witout a battery? And why did the /JBC parameter wont work for me?

Thanks alot and sorry for my bad english.
