It just stays on this screen. Seems to have detected the right cpu though.

Hi. Did what you suggested, but still doesn't get past the bios post screen. I've followed the instructions on the webpage, and the new .rom file definitely has the new 1067A microcode in it. I've flashed it twice, but still the same. Any other suggestions?
Make new BIOS dump with Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0.
Well. Try to disable SpeedStep with old CPU then try to boot with new CPU.
Have you any other 45-nm CPU for LGA775?

No I don't. Disabling SpeedStep didn't work either. Do you think there might be something wrong with the actual chip then?
I think that current BIOS hasn't support for CPU with frequency more then 3 GHz...
