ARE YOU SURE , MY RAM IS 2666 TYPE crucial BUT MY PC READ IT AS 2400 ?
this is because the memory that comes soldered on the motherboard runs at 2400mhz, any memory that you put in the free slot will be automatically underclocked. there is no way to change this since it is not possible to overclock this laptop.
how would that be possible? I have the BIOS of the acer aspire 5 A515-51G unlocked and whenever I try to overclock the RAM I end up getting brick! even by manually defining the timings and frequency of the memory.
