Ok, So here is what I got... working on!

Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 Specifications:
  • 15.6-inch 720p (1366 x 768) glossy panel with LED backlighting
  • Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
  • Intel Core i3-350M dual-core processor (2.26 Ghz, 3 MB Cache)
  • Integrated Intel HD graphics
  • 3GB DDR3 dual-channel RAM (1GB + 2GB)
  • 500GB 5400RPM Western Digital hard drive (WD5000BEVT)
  • Broadcom 802.11n Wireless LAN, Bluetooth
I'm not without having some research, however... I'm not finding that a substantial improvement can be made ?

This Lenovo Thread leaves me hopeless? https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-P-Y-and-Z-series/Z560-Upgrade-CPU-amp-RAM/td-p/1566360
Post screenshots of first (CPU) & third (Mainboard) tabs of CPU-Z with supported CPU.
And I need a screenshot of list of graphics cards in Device Manager.

Apprec the response...

You want physically pix of the hardware, meaning I'll need to disassemble?  Please pardon my slow ramp-up, just not following what is probably SOP for you.

Quad core CPU isn't supported by this laptop.
i5-5x0M and i7-6x0M are recommended for upgrade.

Is this 1st gen  Sandy Bridge/Ivy Bridge Microarchitecture? I'm finding that 2nd & 3rd gen stuff is quad core?
As you can see I'm rusty on my hardware these days.

Could you please list out some of the specific higher end i5 & i7 series part numbers to seek out?
Are these all target hardware? https://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Core...043.0.html
Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge have different socket.
i7-640M is fastest compatible.

Ok apprec... I was eye-balling 620m, 640m, 660-lm as targets.
