can somebody please help with this?
If it boots, you need additional cooling for chipset.
I have Emachines ET1331G-)3w with a MCP61MP-GM v2.2 AMI Bios and would like to put an AMD 1045t in it.  But have not had any luck finding a bios that will work on this board.  I have tried the ones in the MCP61 thread to no luck.  I have come across an older thread showing that it is possible, but that thread ended in 2012 without the ROM being posted.

I have tried 3 different versions of AMIBCP editors and they all give the "Couldn't open the file" message.  Have also tried the MMTOOL V3.22 editor to try and the CPU IDs i need and I get a "The CPU MicroCode Patch file does not of proper" message (I wouldn't doubt that i am not using this one correctly though).

Im not looking to overclock, just wanting the CPU support.

I figured it out a few days later.  Had to force the BIOS flash with Winflash, then did a reinstall of Windows 7.  It recognizes the 1045T now, thank you for your reply.
