Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

Have Lenovo Miix 2 Laptop/tablet that I would like to remove white list from so I can install Intel 7260 wireless card. Currently has Atheros AR946x in it now.

Current Bios: 97CN39WW

PCI ID of the Wifi/WWAN card in it now:
PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0034&SUBSYS_321417AA&REV_01

Ran the first one (Backup_Tools) and have enclosed the file (Lenovo Miix 2.rar).


The second program (Universal BIOS backup) gives the error "Can not identify the BIOS."

i have 2x Lenovo Miix 2 11 and want to try another wifi card but the miix 2 have a whitelist too.

i hope anybody can help me with my Bios.

You can flash from Windows too . . .

Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\),
after this execute these comands from CLI window :

cd \

cd modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

(or fptw64 for Windows x64)
