Hey guys,
I have a Lenovo M700 Tiny which i want to upgrade to a "Kaby Lake" 7th Gen CPU because of the better H265 decoding support.
Currently installed is a i3 6100t.
The M700 uses a B150 chipset, which supports Kaby Lake CPUs.
According to forumpostings from Lenovo, Gen 7 is not working in the M700.
I assume the bios is blocking Kaby Lake cpus.
So... is there a modded bios i can use?!
Post a screenshot of third (Mainboard) tab of CPU-Z.
Explain exactly what happens when you try to boot with your Kaby Lake CPU.
Hello and thank you for your answer.
Currently i dont own a Kaby Lake CPU.
I would buy a new CPU if it runs in the M700.
I give up. The Chipsec-stuff is too complicated for me. Thanks anyway.

Lenovo whitelist(WIFI) remove, slip2.1 Certification Reflect
Intel ME version change applied (11.7.0.3307 Corporate)
Microcode - QTJ2 (insert data : 906ED)
Product ID : 10JRS02Y06
I tried to fix the Intel ME version in Coffee Time v0.99, but it doesn't work.
The original bios rom has been backed up. (ch341a programmer v1.4)
The CPU to insert the microcode is QTJ2.
The BIOS ROM file required to fix the firmware will be emailed to you.
There are many shortcomings, but thank you for your patience.
