Hello, I would like to install an i7 640m instead of an i3 380 the bios is in attachment. Sorry for my english i'm french

I installed the i7 but no startup the screen remains black and the laptop turns off after 15 seconds
Current BIOS has support for
i7-640M -

Try this algorithm with native BIOS:
1) remove AC jack, Main Battery, and CMOS Battery
2) remove HDD and all DIMMs
3) install new CPU
4) wait 10 mins
5) press and hold power button for 30 sec.
6) install CMOS Battery and one DIMM only, inject AC jack (without Main Battery!)
7) try to boot your laptop.
thank you very much my laptop started with your method, the difference with the i3 is obvious by cons it i7 heats more.
I did not think that without updating the bios mcode the i7 will be supported
