I have an MSI A78M-E35 motherboard and was wondering if the latest bios has support for the 880k. MSI's latest bios is newer than the latest bios on their cpu support list. However i am not sure if the latest bios added support for the 880k. It does say it has an updated AGESA code. So i am wondering if it added support for newer cpu's. If not i would like to request a bios mod to support the 880k if possible. I was unable to get in contact with MSI to get more info.

GT1030 it does work with another APU just not with the 880k. https://valid.x86.fr/ery7zr

I also reset the bios before installing the 880k. So all setting would have been reset to defaults.
This BIOS hasn't support for Godavari core.

There is a newer board revision. The MSI A78M-E35 V2 which has godavari support. So I wonder if its do to a bios size limitation.
Flash BIOS from newer board revision. Size of BIOS is the same - 8 MB.
Alright that worked. I just had to change file type from .650 to .U60 so mflash would see the file type.
