Hi everyone, I would like to ask if it is possible to add Phenom II x6 1100T support to the ASrock Am2Nf3-Vsta bios
In the latest release, v.3.30, support for the Phenom II x4 980 has been added.
Below you will find the links of the ASrock bios:

Update 14:32 :
As a reference bios I have chosen that of the ASrock K10N78D and the ASrock K10N780SLIX3-WiFi.
These AM3 / AM2 + Motherboards have been updated with support for Phenom II x6.

I hope all of you can help me as this motherboard is the only one with AGP slot, DDR2 Ram and Phenom II support.
Thank you in advance and fingers crossed.
Show a screenshot of third (Mainboard) tab of CPU-Z.
Explain exactly what happens when you try to boot with Phenom II X6 1100T.
Hi DeathBringer,
unfortunately I only have the MB Am2Nf3-Vsta and an ASrock 890FX Delux5 available.
I can post a photo of cpu-z with Am2Nf3 and Phenom II x4 980 and a photo with 890FX and Phenom II x6 1100T.
Can it be useful to you?

Install any suitable CPU in AM2NF3-VSTA and make a screenshot of third (Mainboard) tab of CPU-Z.
Then install Phenom II x6 1100T in AM2NF3-VSTA and try to boot. Describe in details results of this.
Ok DeathBringer,
I prepare everything and post the results.
Meanwhile, thanks for your availability.

Hi DeathBringer,
I installed both cpu, 980 and 1100T, on the am2nf3.
Before changing cpu I set the clock to 3300Mhz which corresponds to the clock base of the 1100T.
To simplify I made a video so you can see the reaction of the motherboard.

Also added the cpuz report file.
Hope it can help you understand if the 1100T can also be implemented.
Fingers crossed.
This motherboard is based on nForce3 250 chipset.
You need to find any motherboard with this chipset, but with official support of Thuban.
I think that it's impossible.
There is a user on this site:

https://www.wimsbios.com/forum/cpu-isn-r...11215.html

to recognize the Phenom II in an ASUS M2N32-SLI Premium Vista, with nForce® 590, it used the Bios of the ASUS Crosshair II which has the nForce® 780a.

Could the same thing be done with the Am2Nf3 and the ASrock K10N78D / K10N780SLIX3-WiFi?

Sorry if I ask you but I'm not an expert in these things ...

Asus M2N32-SLI is based on nForce 590 SLI.
ASRock K10N78D is based on nForce 720D .
ASRock K10N780SLIX3-WiFi is based on nForce 780a SLI.
These chipset are very different from nForce3 250.
Ok DeathBringerin,
thank you for the explanations, you have been very kind. Smile

i see if i can find anything about this compatibility with x6 and nforce 3 250 on other motherboards.
Fingers crossed.

P.S.
I forgot to inform you that I have more than one am2nf3 bios chip available for any test flashes. Wink
