Hi guys, im new here and im sorry if my inglish goes bad anyways, i need help for making a modded bios for v-p8h61e/dp_mb asus (lga1155) motherboard cuz is not compatible with i5 3470. Hope someone can help thanks Smile ❣️.
Post a screenshot of third (Mainboard) tab of CPU-Z.
Explain exactly what happens when you try to boot with i5-3470.
I didnt see the reply lol, mm the motherboard is not compatible with that cpu from factory.. I looked into asus page and idk what happens but it doesnt show the specs of the motherboard anymore.. The bootSadi know the cpu is workimg cuz i tested it on a asus maximus v gene)(i know this motherboard works too cuz i used it with and i3 2100)i install everything and it shows me both of error codes led from motherboard(doesnt start just spins the fan) (the bios is the final version).. Maybe the i5 3470 cannot work with that motherboard but idk.. Thanks again and sorry for the poor english.

Update ME-firmware to v8.1.70.1590 by FWUpdate from Intel ME System Tools v8:
FWUpdLcl -f me.bin
Thanks a lot but..what i have to do exactly? there are so many folders and i dont know very much about how to edit bios things..Could you please say me what i have to do or send me a youtube link ?.
1. Make DOS USB-stick (e.g, by Rufus),
2. Download ME-firmware v8.1.70.1590. Unpack, rename it me.bin and copy it to created DOS USB-stick.
3. Download Intel ME System Tools v8 and unpack it. Go to \Intel ME System Tools v8 r3\FWUpdate\Local-DOS and copy FWUpdLcl.exe to created DOS USB-stick.
4. Boot from created DOS USB-stick.
6. Type in command line:
FWUpdLcl -f me.bin
7. Make a photo of results.
8. Don't reboot but power off your system and disconnect power cord for few minutes.
9. Boot and make in BIOS Load Defaults, save and exit.
10. Try to install your new CPU.
