Are you sure that isn't ThrottleStop issue?
Try to flash 8th mod and check it with Q6600.
No! Q6600 still hangs on post code B1((( maybe 2 cores is the limit for this Board?

Try to check with any quad cores CPU with
Wolfdale core.
What's about the frequency in idle with
E7500?

Технологии энергосбережения не работают на моде 8 ... Процессор держит максимальную частоту

Try to roll back to 6th mod.

Figured out what was the problem of power consumption in the mod 8 . In the BIOS , in the Advanced setup tab, C1 mode was disabled by default . I turned it on and the processor started to reset the frequency ( to a multiplier of X6 )
Try to disable it to check your suppose.

Yes! It was definitely about the C1 E function
OK. Use
6th mod now for
E7500.
But I haven't ideas for
Q6600.
P.S. Try to find for test 45-nm quad core CPU.

Good! In the near future, I will order a converted LGA775 Xeon l5408 FSB 1066 MHz (I think it will be stupid to put something with the Fsb 1333 bus)...
