Hello
I have a samsung r530-jt50es laptop that I would like to upgrade the processor for the i7 740qm
I am on an old BIOS version (04KQ)  and I am unable to update to the latest version with the samsung executable.
I would like to know if there is a possibility to extract the wph file from the executable for flashing in another way.
Another question is if there is any possibility of configuring the bios that starts from the dedicated graphics nvidia 310 since the new CPU does not have graphics and the old one does.

Thank you

The specifications of the Laptop are:
Model: Samsung np-r530-jt50es
CPU: I3 330m
Chipset: Intel h55
Graphics card: Nvidia GF310M
Bios: 07JD
Post a screenshot of third (Mainboard) tab of CPU-Z with supported CPU.
Explain exactly what happens when you try to boot with your i7-740QM.
Hello
When trying to boot with the i7 the equipment does not give signal. I do not know if it does not recognize the CPU or does not show video when trying to start with the integrated graphics as in the case of the i3 (I do not have the option to select with which graphics it has to start)
Thank you
You have the latest BIOS for this motherboard. WIN_07JD.exe is pack for three different platforms.
Try to flash my mod with updated microcode.
Hello
I have tried the modified 04KQ but no luck. Still not recognizing it when starting
Thank you
1. Download Intel ME System Tools v6 and unpack it.
2. Go to \Intel ME System Tools v6 IBX r2\MEInfo\Windows and run in command line with administrative rights MEInfoWin.exe
3. Make a screenshot of results.
Hello
I attach the capture, although it seems that there is some error
thanks
OK.
1. Download Intel ME 6 1.5MB Firmware v6.2.50.1062, unpack and rename it to me.bin
2. Go to \Intel ME System Tools v6 IBX r2\FWUpdate\Windows, copy me.bin to this location and run in command line with administrative rights:
FWUpdLcl me.bin
3. Make a screenshot of results.
4. Power off without rebooting, disconnect power cord for 5 min.
5. Then power on and make new screenshot of MEInfoWin
I've tried to empty things and I can't get past here.
Show a screenshot of results of the command
dir
in the folder with FWUpdLcl.exe
